This week I was skimming and taking notes from Amusing Ourselves to Death for a project, and thought this was a relevant quote:

Roof decking going up! The stuff in blue bags is insulation that needs to go down before we pour the garage pad.

We started our homeschool year this week! So far, so good. It's very fun to have three independent students and a few classes with eager teens. There's a lot of real work to keep up with them, but it's much more my jam than phonics lessons was. :) Of course, no one has turned in papers yet for me to review and give feedback (not grades) on. Reviewing papers is a 90 minute appointment on my calendar moving forward...
