Hi Reader,
I mentioned last week about how I stopped paying for a spendy planner when they stopped making a purple-bound option.
I know it seems silly, but the reality was that I didn't like any of the other colors, and I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a planner that didn't cry out to me, "Look! I'm yours! Take care of me!"
Purple makes me happy. I find it attractive – that is, I feel an attraction, a draw, toward things that are purple.
Instead of downplaying and ignoring that oddity in myself, I've cultivated it.
So if my planner is purple, I am drawn to it. I pick it up. I want to open it, to use it, to make it my own.
When you use a planner that makes you happy, you'll be so much more likely to actually use it. And using the planner is the only thing that makes it work at all.
Any planner will work if you use it.
Make yourself more likely to do the one thing that makes all the difference (using that planner!) by choosing a planner (and a pen!) that attracts you.
But maybe you don't even think a planner is something that works for you.
If that's you, I'm doing a workshop that'll be right up your alley:
The 4-Part Planner Method: Joyful Productivity Without Burnout

Planners shouldn't be overwhelming. When used well, they tame our overwhelm without adding to it. Come learn how this works!
